How do we describe Flyer Gate 2022? Along with beautiful weather, the turnout was astonishing!
Over 1,100 hot dogs were cooked and served! The Flyer fever is definitely astronomical and powerful in this community and it showed that evening. It was shoulder to shoulder out on the Marion Local School lawn and everyone was laughing, conversing, and enjoying every minute, especially the kids. The music was hopping and the energy was high! Kids danced, got Flyer tattoos, and kept the face painters busy all night!
The Flyer Gate shirts were a huge hit once again!1,110 free shirts were distributed to those present! We were so grateful to be able to provide extra shirts this year to accommodate the large attendance!
We were also fortunate enough to have our local first responders join us - Osgood EMS, Chickasaw Volunteer Fire Department, and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.
