Osgood Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer. The individual filling this position will manage the bank's existing commercial portfolio customer relationships and seek opportunities to expand these relationships. Additionally, they will identify and prospect new business inside of the bank's approved client network and work within their approved lending authority.
Candidates must have the ability to travel to clients, comprising of up to 25% of the position's duties.

Interview loan applicants and obtain financial information and tax returns for new loan requests and renewals.
Compile underwriting information and work with the bank's credit analysts to develop a complete financial analysis of the applicant's credit history. This will include collateral valuation.
Correspond with the applicant to resolve questions regarding the financial information that has been provided to the bank.
As necessary, negotiate loan terms, loan covenants, interest rates, and loan fees.
Approve the loan request within the individual lending officer's assigned lending authority or refer the loan request to the bank's Senior Lending Officer and/or the bank's Loan Committee for approval. Ensure the risk grade is assigned to each loan.
Close approved loan(s) and ensure that all loan documents and all loan agreements are complete and accurate, according to the bank's Lending Policy.
When a loan request is denied, send adverse action notices in accordance with regulatory requirements and the bank's Lending Policy.
Meet expectations through managing specialty portfolio while continuing to expand prospective new business inside the bank's approved client network. Monitor their individual pipeline on a regular basis.
Under the direction of the Senior Lending Officer, manage the loan relationships that become delinquent, by taking appropriate action. Develop written action plans on situations where the delinquency has the possibility or probability of becoming a serious problem. Make recommendations, when necessary, to have a delinquent loan(s) placed on the bank's "Watch List".
Participate in community activities to promote the image and goodwill of the bank.
Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant. Our ideal Staff Accountant will have a strong background in various accounting practices. This role requires proficiency in recording transactions, reconciliation of general ledger accounting, processing payments, as well as other tasks.
The Staff Accountant participates in information gathering efforts for annual audits and exams.

Facilitates a proper record keeping of daily and monthly transactions by recording accounting entries and reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure accurate transactions and balances. Participates in activities and routine tasks involved for month-end close.
Coordinates, with the assistance and collaboration of the CFO, daily cash management and monitoring activities by reconciling daily bank account balances, initiation of funds transfer transactions, and posting of general ledger journal entries.
Conducts the processing of accounts payable (AP) invoices for payment to external vendors using software program and verifying proper ACH records on file to send payments.
Maintains records of invoices received and paid through using the scanning system for document management.
Verifies proper invoices and documents are received to process payment. Manages the AP email box to process requests.
Assists the CFO with investment relations activities by recording transactions within designated system of record and issuance of notices, letters, and stock certificates to shareholders.
Collaborate with the CFO and other accounting team staff with various tasks and projects as they arise, including but not limited to monthly reporting, annual audit requests, and quarterly regulatory reporting.
Provides administrative support to CFO for various tasks and accurate record keeping.
Research and verifies payments made to vendors as requested.
Complies with established security and control standards; and maintains accountability and control of cash at all times.
Establishes supportive working relationships with all employees to promote a team atmosphere. Possesses clear understanding and complies with all bank procedures, laws, and federal regulations.
Displays effective listening, verbal, and written skills.
Ensures timely and accurate payments of invoices to vendors.
