Job Functions
- Greet customers and answer phones promptly and with a friendly attitude.
- Build customer rapport.
- Become familiar with bank products and services to recommend and refer new services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure proper storage and security in cash drawers and vaults.
- Adhere to all bank security standards - including dual control requirements.
- Identify acceptable types of identification and handling of forged and/or altered identification.
- Be knowledgeable of funds availability rules and place Regulation CC holds when necessary.
- Process a variety of transactions, including withdrawals from deposit accounts, payments to loans and credit cards, and advances from lines of credit.
- Scan and image documentation, completing workflows.
- Assist others with miscellaneous tasks, mailings, and calls.
- Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and coworkers through applying Osgood Bank's service standards.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Comfortable using computer systems and programs.
- Basic mathematical skills.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds.
