To open an account with Osgood Bank you will be asked to provide the Customer Service Representative with:
A valid photo ID
Proof of Social Security Number
Proof of address if address is different from that shown on ID (utility bill or like document)
You will be required to provide basic personal information such as phone number, email address, and challenge questions for future verification.
All accounts require an initial deposit at account opening. You may transfer money from another Osgood Bank account or fund your account with a cash or check. Funding with a check from another financial institution may require a temporary hold.
If you wish to open an account with multiple owners or signers, we will require the above information for each individual. If you wish to name beneficiaries for your account, we will require their legal name, social security number, date of birth, and phone number.
All applicants will be verified through Qualifile, a nationwide specialty consumer reporting agency under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.
