Residential Loan Manager

Brief Summary

The ideal candidate has experience managing a team to complete the residential loan process, from receiving the loan application through loan completion, maintenance, and compliance.


  • Send completed files to Loan Processor for initial disclosures.

  • Manage Loan Tracking Report.

  • Review all documents and ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage residential loan pipeline received from Lenders.

  • Oversee all internal and external audits.

  • Maintain and update procedures.

  • Sell real estate loans to secondary market.

  • Prepare Adverse Actions Notice, when necessary.

  • Manage maintenance on loan accounts and loan payoffs.

  • Manage and develop residential team.

  • Prepare performance evaluations and weekly/biweekly meetings with team.

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Knowledge of accounting, tax laws, and spreadsheet applications. 

  • Prior banking experience preferred. 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limits standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Valid Driver’s License
