Consumer Loan Officer

We invite you to find your passion working with people.  As a Consumer Loan Officer, you will be empowered to help customers realize their dreams by meeting their financial needs.  At Osgood Bank, we provide personal service and the support team to make your role effective.  

Our full time Consumer Loan Officer will be located at the Osgood or Fort Loramie branch and oversee servicing our customers’ needs for consumer and residential loan requests.  You will have the opportunity to provide various types of real estate mortgage and consumer loans to our customers.  Taking loan applications and obtaining various information to complete a successful loan will keep you in touch with people and serving their financial needs.  A flexible schedule will provide you the opportunity to call on various sources to generate future loan volume and new customers.  Your support team will include an inhouse credit underwriting team and loan processing team to assist you in completing all stages of a loan from start to finish in a short period of time while satisfying the customer. 

A successful Consumer/Mortgage Loan Officer on our team is well compensated and is provided an opportunity for incentive bonus along with complete benefit package including paid short-term disability, long term disability and 401k match and profit sharing.  Your skills of organization, detail orientated, multi-tasking, customer focused, personable and flexibility will aid in your ability to build your career with our team of talented, hard-working, caring team members. 

We desire a degree beyond high school along with three to five years of consumer and mortgage lending with an NLMS #.  Additional qualifications leading to your success include a positive outlook, innovative, forward thinking, problem solving and banking experience.

Customer Support Representative - Part Time

Department: Call Center
Location: Operations Center
Summary of position requirements:

The Customer Support Representative provides assistance with collecting documents from the deposit processing and call center departments. This position will also organize document storage and filing systems as well as digitizing hard copies of documents. The Customer Support Representative will help with miscellaneous administrative duties that may arise through busy time periods within the deposit processing and call center departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Functions:

  • Assist with mailings and ensure delivery to post office in a timely manner.

  • Putting files, digital or paper, into their proper locations.

  • Gathering and organizing files and documents for coworkers' use, such as for report. 

  • Assist with administration duties of various projects.

  • Answering and transferring customer calls as necessary.

  • Process customer request forms.

  • Review savings bonds and time deposits.

  • Reorder checks for customers.

Support Functions:

  • Assist with data retention and regular clean up.

  • Be familiar with banking regulations and responsibilities relating to each, including a working knowledge of account maintenance.

Customer Care Functions:

  • Answer outside incoming calls and emails to assist with issue resolution, and resetting online banking passwords and debit card PINS as necessary.

  • Demonstrate positive phone etiquette to enhance the customer experience.

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained. 

  • Respond to and complete requests submitted in online banking, as well as assisting customers with account inquiries.

  • Manage and process customer requests including, but not limited to, transfer of funds, document request, limit change request, and transaction research.

  • Associates Degree or a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience. 
  • Ability to read, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and promote teamwork within the department and the bank.

Customer Service Representative - Osgood

Department: Retail Banking
Location: Osgood Branch
Summary of position requirements:
  • Responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly personalized service handling a variety of transactions as requested by the customer

  • Ability to recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank services

  • Responsibility to follow all bank policies and procedures when processing transactions

  • Work shifts as scheduled. Position will be 36-40 hours a week, including every other Saturday from 8:15am – 12:15pm.

  • Reliable and punctual attendance

  • Professional and strong customer service skills

  • Cash Handling experience preferred

  • No pressure selling of our products

 

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

  • Comfortable using computer programs.

  • Mathematical skills.

 

Physical requirements:
  • Regularly stand, talk and hear.

  • Regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
