At Osgood Bank, we believe that a dedicated team makes a difference when it comes to customer experiences. Allow us to introduce you to the amazing people who are committed to helping you do well and be good.

This month we are introducing you to Kati. Over the years, her role with Osgood Bank has evolved and she currently oversees the Call Center in the bank's Operations Center. Additionally, Kati supports our branch locations in Osgood, Fort Loramie, Chickasaw, and Indian Lake and oversees our IRA and HSA portfolio. Kati also works closely with the customers in our specialty lending programs, assisting them with their deposit needs.

Kati, will you share your journey with Osgood Bank with us?Kati Family Picture

I grew up banking with Osgood Bank so I knew it was always a friendly environment when you walked through those doors! It has been nothing less than that as an employee as well - I am so blessed to be able to work for such an amazing place!

I start each workday by checking in with my team. I think it's important to touch base, see how they are doing, and review any schedule changes or meetings going on that day. After that, it's business as usual.

Which of Osgood Bank's values most resonates with you and why?

Unity & Teamwork. Overseeing the Call Center is still a fairly new role for me and to the bank. But over the last eight months I have noticed how important unity and teamwork is. When a situation comes up that I need to talk through, I know that I have a supportive group of managers and a team to rely on. Along with that, as the Call Center receives all incoming calls, we are really intertwined with each branch and department. It is nice to see how well things are unified at Osgood Bank as a whole.

Kati 4th of July PictureTell us about yourself.

I grew up in Versailles, Ohio, and ventured back into the area after graduating from Wright State University. I have been married to my husband, Kris, for almost 10 years and we have been blessed with four girls. We tend to hear "oh no, a house full of girls?" a lot, but we really try to focus on their big hearts versus all of the grey hairs they have given us. 😀

Outside of work, I truly enjoy being able to soak up time with my family. This last year for me has been a reminder of just how quickly life can change and that we truly need to embrace the moments we're in right now. In my spare time, my family likes to make lots of trips to the zoo when it's nice, play board games, and take advantage of being outside when the weather cooperates. In the summer and fall, we tend to be busy with softball, soccer, and volleyball. It keeps us busy!

Although we love football in our house, we live in a house divided. My husband and two of my daughters are Ohio State fans while me and my other two daughters are Michigan fans. It's the same when it comes to the NFL too - half of us are Steelers fans and the other half are Bengals fans!

What is one thing you wish you would have learned sooner in life?Kati Zoo Picture-1

I wish I would have learned just how quickly time goes by. In my case, I blinked and almost all of my kids are in school. Life seems to be such a blur sometimes when you have little ones close in age. It makes it hard to soak it in and enjoy, but I'm doing my best.

What is one place you'd love to travel to?

While we don't get to travel too often, with little kids, I do enjoy a nice trip to the beach every once in a while! Myrtle Beach has been a frequent vacation spot for our family in the last 6 years. However, my ultimate bucket list would be a trip to Hawaii - it looks absolutely beautiful and I would love to be able to visit Pearl Harbor.

Which cancelled TV show do you wish was still on?

Friends or The Office - they're hands down my favorite shows. I can still watch them on repeat!
