Theresa, will you share your journey with Osgood Bank with us?
In August of this year, I will celebrate my 25th anniversary with Osgood Bank. In that time, I have been in a few different roles, including Office Manager at the Chickasaw Branch, full-time teller in Osgood and Fort Loramie, and my current role in the loan processing department.
Working for the bank all these years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have had the privilege of collaborating with a team of exceptionally knowledgeable professionals who excel in the banking industry. I have always felt that the bank has great benefits for its employees and treats everyone very well. Here, family always comes first and I think that is fantastic.
Speaking of family, will you tell us about yours?
I value family and have been very blessed with mine. My husband, Mike, and I just celebrated our 35th anniversary! Together, we have three amazing children, two sons and one daughter. Our oldest son, Matt, has his own woodworking business and stays busy making cabinets and doors. Our son, Mark, works full-time, is married, and we have been blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. They are so fun to be with. Grandchildren truly do "make life grand". Our daughter, Alyssa, will be finishing her first year of college in a few months. She is majoring in exercise science. Alyssa runs on the cross country team as well as the indoor and outdoor track team at her college. She and I enjoy our shopping trips together.
What does a typical day at work look like for you?
My typical day at the bank starts with correcting loan unposts first thing in the morning. Then I scan any looseleaf documents, closing loans, and the payoff loans for the day.
What would you do with an unexpected day off of work?
I would take my grandchildren to the park and the woods to walk on some trails.
