  1. Sign/Endorse your check.

  2. Under your signature write "For Mobile Deposit Only to Osgood Bank" and the check number from the front of the check.

  3. Open your Osgood Bank mobile app.

  4. Tap the plus sign and select deposit.

    Note: The next screen will provide you with a reminder of how to endorse your check, processing times, and deposit limits. Tap continue to move to the next step.

  5. Take pictures of the front and back of your check, verify your information, and then click continue to approve your deposit.

You'll receive an immediate email confirming that we've received your deposit and another when we've accepted it for processing.

Are there limitations?

For your security there are limits on checks deposited through Mobile Deposit Capture. Individual checks may not exceed $1,500.00 and accounts are restricted to a total mobile deposit amount of $3,000.00 per week. Bring those checks in, we will be glad to help you.

Can I deposit a third party check?

All checks being scanned for deposit must be payable to you as the account owner(s) only.

When will my money be available?

Your check is not approved for deposit until you have received confirmation from Osgood Bank.

Deposits received after 3:00 pm EST, Monday-Friday (except holidays) will be processed the next business day. 

Checks deposited through mobile deposit are still subject to Regulation CC (Reg CC) and the Osgood Bank Funds Availability Policy. 

Is there a fee to use mobile check deposit?

No. There is no fee to use this service. 

What should I do with my check after I deposit it?

We recommend holding on to your paper check for at least 30 business days after you deposit it in case we need more details from you.

What should I do if my deposit is declined?

Deposits may be declined a variety of reasons. Should your deposit be declined, we will send you an email explaining the reason(s) for the decisions and what you should do next.
